Third Grade Recycling Project Gives Back

Lorraine Gerstl's third grade class was proud to make a donation to the Kinship Center on May 22, 2009. This year, students raised $414 from recycling bottles and cans they collected on campus. They then went to Target and each selected $18 worth of items that would make a child feel at home.

The Kinship Center is a nonprofit agency dedicated to creating permanent families for abused and abandoned children. A big thank you to our third graders for not only helping the environment, but helping kids in need. Great job!
